Silent Features of the Institution
We posess a fully functional SmartKids KG classroom operated by active, skillful and spacially tranined female teachers for all-round development of your loved ones. This will help your children adjust to school life and develop a strong base for learning. Importantly, this also helps meet parental aspirations of seeing their children enroll in a good pre-school around age 3 or 4. SmartKids kinder-garten is a recent initiative raised by J&K Govt to facilate physical Infrastructure and child friendly learning Environment to support holistic development of childern in the age group of 0-8 years, the purpose is served as per the satandards laid down in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) programme.
We provide Free Text-books for all classes from 1st to 8th published by Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education. The textbooks are prepared by Academic and Curriculum Experts of J&K Bose, to bring at par the academic standard in light of the guidlines laid down under National Curriculum Framework-2005. In addition each student gets two pairs of free uniforms every year to maintain the uniformity and decipline in the school and to encourage those parents who are not in a position to facilate their childern with the same.
Mid-day meal (MDM) is a wholesome freshly-cooked lunch served to children of our School on all working days. Its aim to provide nutritious and delicious food for the children and also is viewed as an opportunity to inculcate hygiene and sanitation practices among children. The menu is designed and implemented after taking into consideration various factors, including regional palate, taste, and flavours. Menu diversity is achieved by using a wide variety of seasonal vegetables and locally available ingredients. We have adopted a cyclic approach with preference to local palate.Our menu planning incorporates a range of flavours with a variety of spices, condiments, vegetables, and staple groups.
Students here are encouraged by a number of scholarships and awards introduced by Central Government, State Government and in Particular Social Welfare Department of Jammu and Kashmir. The key objective behind every scholarship is to provide suitable financial assistance to meritorious and underserved students of the state to enable them to pursue their studies without any financial constraint. Scholarship scheme for specially-abled students are also provided to assist and encourage these students. Government also provides scolarships espacially to girl students through various schemes and programmes.
Health checkup of all students is a part of the academic calender of the Institution. According to the academic calendar, school takes necessary measures to cunduct health checkup of the students with the help of local primary health centers under the supervision of the Block Medical Officer and referral cases are sent to nearby area hospitals and other government medical centers when ever necessary. Every student is provided with a health card which is printed under cumulative records and filled up and maintained properly. The health check of every child twice in a year is a must.

A scientific temperament is nurtured through fully equipped laboratory for Physics, Chemistry and

experiments in the presence of highly qualified Science teachers. Students are encouraged to use the

Govt. Middle School Manznoo is committed to empowering all students to be inquirers and to meet high academic standards in a nurturing, enriching, supportive environment where individual differences and talents are respected. At MS Manznoo, academic excellence is promoted and lifelong learning is strongly encouraged. Critical, creative, and higher level thinking skills are developed, while connections among all disciplines are provided, and students are empowered to become productive citizens of the global community.
2004It all started in march-2004, when the little buds of this beautiful habitation Manznoo had to travel long distance facing the severe cold to get to a school. During that time Govt. launched an initiative known as EGS (Education Guarantee Scheme) under the banner of SSA (Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan) to ease the inconvinces faced by parents in order to educate their young ones. All this would not have been possible without a dynamic and enthusiastic youth namely "Mohammad Ashraf Bhat" who took the responsibility as a EV (Education Volunteer) on a meagre monthly remuneration. The sacrifices and efforts of this young man to raise the standards of his people and to make a firm foundation of this institution (at first in his own room where he used to live) are enormous. He gradually managed to enrol all the children of the village in the EGS Centre.
2008The great efforts of this young man brought fruits in June-2008 when the EGS centre was converted to a full-fledged Primary School, a three-room building got sanctioned and constructed. Now that He had a strong foundation to exercise his progressive efforts, he reached out to other nearby habitations to invite more students, which resulted in a substantial increase in the enrolment of the school. After upgradation some more talented teachers joined the institute to pave way for more and more success.
2010The increasing enrolment of the School left authorities with no option than to issue orders to Upgrade the Institution to Upper-Primary standard in December-2010. One more 3ACR building was added to the beautiful landscape of the Institution and thus more infrastructure and academic equipment’s such as library, science Lab and sports club etc.
nowToday the school has developed into a excellent learning centre with a lot of infrastructure in place which has played a pivotal role in increasing the enrollment of the institution. Currently under the supervision of the Kind and Generous Head of the Institute Mtr. Firdous Akhter who left no stone unturned to upgrade the academic and infrastructural domains, thus catering the learning needs of end users in a best possible way. In this noble endeavour, the head teacher is unequivocally supported by the staff members. This became the sole reason of Ms Manznoo students bringing laurels to the Institution.
